The anger I have keeps building inside,
Why is there so much anger in me?
It must be controlled!
It must be tamed!
For I represent an end, end to lonely nights,
Happiness and dreams come true.
What is this anger, do I know?
I think it’s a human madness,
That consumes the heart, mind and soul.
Once unleashed pain and anguish reigns,
Becoming a roadblock to everything worthwhile,
I fight it constantly, for I know the destructions it hides.
I know this anger inside comes and goes,
These are the up’s and down’s in life,
That we all go through.
This is the darkness that dwells inside of me
That stifles my thoughts over and over again,
Anger is what I could do without!

Is it just me or are nortanos more artistic than people in the West? The two other poem writers I know from here are eccentric and bit overflattered with their poems. Thus, I have learned to keep my poems to myself.
Maybe I'll share them... but when they are ready to come out.
well about norteƱos being more artistic we leave that up to the critics. hehe. I use to keep all of them to my self at first but now I just decided to let it all out. So maybe you should do the same and see what your peers think..thats the only you get feedback from people and surprisingly u find others who are in the same predicament as you.
I do share my poems, but very, very catiously. My second form teacher was very critical and he was mean about my writing. Yes, I like a meaningful critism but critism for the sake of hating is just mean. Note: whenever I share a poem with someone, it is because I think that person is worthy of it.
Just remember I am making my assessment about nortenos is based on the like of you, Leo, Leal and my friend Lyndon from CZ. It might not be an accurate sample of the population. But then, your park is prettier then our....
Ahum...Is this thing working?
Who's sampling our population? I smell tricksiness.
Oh, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches rule!
No trickness, just my liking to assess and analyse people. I AM sampling your population but then you might've altered the results of my "case study" because you relocated and have been Cayoized for two non-consecutive years.
Depends what type of jelly. Great single people food and is my favourite dinner.
By the way, I found a great tasting thing that makes great sandwhichs too. It is a goat milk product (very good for you) that taste like carmel. I bought in Chetumal when I went (ever so long ago). It is called Nuez... something... no recuerdo...it is nice nice though. I think it is suppose to be an ice cream topping but it is great on bread.
yes i'm not keeping up fully with your conversation there....case study...jelly...norenos....damn i'm way out of the loop. but da poem is tight...I'd take it if I didn't know you
good one pierre..keep an eye one u...maybe find the poem published somewhere by Pierre..hahaha..kidding...i guess everyone goes through things like these
Check out my blog! I finally published a poem... I am nail biting again too.
